Sweet Potato Fries & Dip #OreIdaFries

I went to my Sam's Club with my friend Krista the other day to look at there bedding and was happy to find the bedding I had been looking for.

Then I pick up a bag of OreIda Sweet Potato fries so I can make a dip recipe to go with them.

They were easy to find in the freezer section with a sign right above them that said Potato's.

While my son and husband watched Batman I started baking the fries and the dip.

I like to mix different ingredients to find a dip that my family and I will enjoy.

I decided to go with Cream Cheese, Ranch Dressing, and Franks Red Hot.

It came out just the way I wanted it too!

My son ate the fries but without dip. He never uses dips with anything so I wasn't surprised.

My husband and I ate quite a bit and decided that was our dinner and I just made my son a hot dog to go with the fries.

The finished product on my plate.

I can't wait to have family and friends over to show my new recipe that I created.

I never thought of buying Sweet Potato Fries. I always just went the original crinkle cut fries by OreIda.

I'm glad that I ventured out and found something new that is healthier for my family to enjoy!

Recipe:
1/4 cup of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
1/4 cup of Franks Red Hot

Check out my shopping trip to Sam's Club on This Moment.

The Dog Park #dogcollarcharms

I ordered Dog Collar Charms for my dog and two more to giveaway at my local dog park. I went to Idlewild Park in Burlington, Kentucky.

When I arrived I went straight to the dog play areas. There was a area for small dogs and large. I went to the large area because thats always where I take my dog Biscuit.

I had two adorable Dog Collar Charms to give away that say "I love my dog."
I was immediately greeted by a 6 year old white fluffy dog named Jasper with his owner James. He was very friendly and even let me put the dog collar charm on him. I gave him a card with the Dog Collar Charms information so he could spread the word also.

The second dog I saw was a German Shepherd Mix that was very nervous and come to find out was his first time to the dog park. I got the feeling he was overwhelmed buy the crowd. I gave the owner Aja his charm and she put it on him. She was very interested in how I got them and how much they cost. I gave her a card with the website information and a few extra for friends.

When I left the park I went home without anymore cards. I hope that spreading the word more animals will have there own personalized dog collar charm.

Dog Collar Charms #dogcollarcharms

I've always wanted a personalized Dog Collar Charm for my dog Biscuit. I went to Dog Collar Charms to order one dog collar charm for my dog and two others to give away at my local dog park.
For my dog I decided to personalize it with a picture of my son Damien and her napping on the couch one afternoon after a long walk.

PICTURE OF DAMIEN & BISCUIT

I decided that the two I wanted to give away needed to be more plain since I would be handing them out to complete strangers. Just a saying or design was what I had in mind. I went with "I love my dog."

PICTURE I LOVE MY DOG

The order process was easy after deciding what pictures I wanted to use on the charms. I uploaded the photos and was able to edit them if needed. Then I even got to choose a border color. I decided I wanted Biscuit's to be green and the two that I'm giving away to be red. Then it was time to checkout!

PICTURE SHOWING ORDERING BOTH CHARMS

After I checked out it was four days later I received the charms in my mailbox.

PICTURE OF BISCUIT'S CHARM

Look how great it turned out! The quality is amazing and now all I can think about is telling my friends and family members about Dog Collar Charms. I've had several people ask me where I found something like this and where they could get one for themselves. I'm doing what I can to spread the word about these gorgeous charms and would love to hear what you think about them.

PICTURE OF ALL 3 CHARMS

I can't wait to share these with some other people who love their pets as much as I love mine.

PICTURE OF CHARM ON PETE

The day I got the charms I instantly put it on Biscuit. Looking at it on her just feels right. Damien and Biscuit are the best of friends and he gets really excited every time he sees it on her.

I'm very satisfied with how quick and smooth the process was and encourage all my fellow dog lovers to do the same!

Review: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs & Dinner! #weeknightmeals #couchcritics

Tonight my son Damien & I watched Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. I loved hearing him giggle and laugh while I was in the kitchen making Italian Chicken Packets. This is a very family friendly movie and is great for little imaginations. The graphics were unbelievable compared to other children's movies.

I really like how Flint thought his inventing career was over when It really had just begun.

I rented the movie at my local Redbox that is in Krogers.

Being that Meatballs are Italian I decided to make Italian Chicken Packets for two.
I got this recipe from Give Every Night new Flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen broccoli cuts
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (2 breasts = 10 oz)1/4 cup light Italian
  • dressing1/2 cup (1/2 of 14.5-oz can) drained Hunt's® Diced Tomatoes

Nutrition Information*

Serving Size2 servings (1 breast and 1 cup vegetables each)
Calories264

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine broccoli, drained tomatoes and dressing in medium bowl.
  2. For each packet, lay two 20x12-inch sheets of regular foil on top of each other.
  3. Place 1 chicken breast on each foil packet. Spoon broccoli and tomato mixture equally over each chicken breast. Bring up short sides of each foil packet and double fold top. Double fold both ends to seal each packet, leaving space for steam to gather.
  4. Place packets on baking sheet; bake 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in centers (165°F). Carefully open ends of packets to allow steam to escape before fully opening.

How To Make A Flower Jewelry Holder #GlueNGlitter

Today, I had a project to complete and I am very happy with the end result. Would you like to know how I created this lovely Flowered Jewelry Holder and spent less than $10? Well, you are in luck because I am going to give you step-by-step instructions.

First, you need to gather the right supplies.

I found this pot in the garden center at my local Walmart Supercenter for under $1! I thought that it would be perfect to use to plant my "flowers".

These sticks will make the perfect stems for my flowers. Also purchased for less than $1!

When I found these foam stickers, I knew I hit the jackpot. For under $6, I was able to accessorize my project exactly how I wanted.

The only other item necessary for this project was some play-doh that I already had at home.

Once you get all of the supplies together, you are ready to begin your crafting project. First, lay out the Elmer's Bi-Fold Foam Board flat on the table or other flat surface. Put a little play-doh in the bottom of your planter. This is necessary to keep the sticks in place. Then, set the planter in the center of the Elmer's board and decorate around the planter. The great thing about the foam flowers is that you can peel off the back and place the flower on the board because it already has a sticky side. Once you are ready, find some big flowers because they will be best for holding a pair of earrings. Place the flower on the end of one of the sticks and place the stick inside the play-doh that is in the planter. Do that a few more times with more sticks as desired. Put some finishing touches on the Elmer's board and your craft is complete in about half an hour!

It's easy, fun and doesn't break the bank!

Review & Giveaway: Of The Earth Jewelry

Here's how the Verdigris Initial Necklace is made:

Bird charm: Each bird charm starts out as simple brass and is finished with a verdigris (blue green) color which is the natural reaction to copper in the outdoors. Each bird will vary in shade of color and intensity of color. Please do not submerge your verdigris bird into water as your color will fade! Initial charm: Every copper initial goes through a handmade process for the finished look. It begins by hand punching the round charm and hammering the initial into the copper followed by a vintage patina and firing! Each initial is a standard capital letter.

I was very excited when I found out I could review and host a giveaway from Of The Earth Jewelry. I got the Initial D for my son Damien. I've worn it everyday sense I received it in the mail. It goes with everything which makes it special.

GIVEAWAY: 1 MamaKnows readers will win a
verdigris initial necklace.
